I have a rustfree (never any) swb bed & tailgate with a pretty nice band on it. I bought it years ago in hunington beach california. It originally came with a steel floor. The previos owner (board member here) bought cross sills for it & i bought a oak wood kit without mounting holes drilled. (just the slots milled for the strips) i also bought a weld on strip for the header panel. (from mark-k) it has a pair of nice wheel wells also. I never got to finish the boards & don't have a strip kit or bolt kit. I need $2000 for it & i will take pp. I took a couple of pictures but they are pretty crummy. If anyone is truelly interested i'll clean it up (it's black & pretty dusty) & take some proper pic.s thanks john

Wood.. But it is not installed or finished (requires light sanding & some kind of sealer) sorry for the confusion. John

This bed has never seen a salty road. It was for one of my projects & i've kind of changed directions after restoring & driving these trucks daily since 1985. I towed it almost 4000 miles .. So it is a nice one. John

Rob... It's a 72 with no trim holes. If you're really interested i'll dust it off, & get some decent pitures of it including the tailgate. The wood is still in the boxes it came in, high up on a shelf in my shop, so i may need to round up a little help getting it down. This is the best shortbed i've ever had. (& i've had a couple

I DON'T REALLY NEED ANYTHING FOR A SWAP. I'VE GOT 6 TRUCKS & JUST BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE FRIDAY.

I'M TRYING TO DOWNSIZE A LITTLE. I'VE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT I'LL NEVER GET ALL MY PROJECTS DONE EVEN IF I LIVE TO BE 100.

I'M ONLY ABOUT 60 MILES FROM THE TENN. BORDER. COME ON UP & I'LL SEND YOU HOME WITH ALL KINDS OF NEAT STUFF. I'VE BEEN DOING THESE TRUCKS FOR OVER 25 YEARS NOW & HAVE STARTED GETTING INTO MILITARY SURPLUS SQUARE BODYS. THIS MUST BE THE DIESEL CHAPTER OF MY LIFE.

I'm interested and have cash now. I will be coming to Kentucky in late April and could pick up then. My son-in-law lives in Clarksville, TN and could pick up earlier if necessary. Are there any dents/dings to deal with or is it straight? Is the wood kit from Mar-K also? Please let me know where I stand in line.
