Check out our no limit 72 build. I did a 4/6, spindle and springs in front, and springs, blocks, and an adjustable panhard rod in the back. It sits pretty level, and I have no problems bottoming out.

Are you going to convert to discs? I suggest convert and run drop spindles. Much safer and will not change your ride.

Re: 2in drop or 4/6 inch drop??? i got a question!!

probably 3/5 is what you want..all you need is the lowering coils/shocks and your done beside an alignment. Sits just right. any lower for front your gonna have to convert to disc brakes/you could get drop spindles..for rear any lower than 5" you will need shock relocaters/adjust panhard bar. But if money aint an issue..what I heard best handling results would be go with the disc brake conversion and get those lowering spindles like 2" and get the 2" drop springs/and you could go 6" drop coils rear with the mention above i wrote. and you will be fine. Well bump stops may still hit alil just go real slow...thats all.Or you could just say bye to the coisl and get bags and you can dump it and raise it and be happy. haha

Click on Project Blank Slate in my signature for the complete install and review of a 4.5/6" drop kit on my '69.

The 4.5/6" has a slight rake but the ride is amazing. If you are planning on using your truck to haul things I would recommend not going lower than a 5" rear drop, unless you are going to c-notch the frame with a bolt-in notch.
