You might want to compare prices with Superior

Thank you. I knew there was a lower cost option. I just couldn't remember who it was. I kept thinking it was alloy axles..

Edit. Looks like there within $5 from each other from Summit. I assume both are a quality product.

You might check Jegs too: www.jegs.com

I want to say they had an axle that would work for $100 a side. It was their house brand, don't know who makes it.

No luck in finding any jegs axles. Thanks for the tip though.

Still looking. I'm going to order a set of mosers at the end of the week if I haven't found any. I've used the mosers on two other projects and they were very nice.

Classic trucks had an article a couple of months ago on how to remove yours and have them redrilled. ( @ your local machine shop) Be much cheaper I'm sure.

True, but I'd rather replace them. Don't want to chance it with 40 year old axles.

They would have to be a aftermarket conversion axles. The factory 5 lug axles are longer then the eariler 6 lug housings.

Re: WTB 5 lug conversion axles

Superior and moser were within a couple dollars of each other. I'm going to end up buying mosers if I don't find a used or discounted set on here. I've been impressed with the moser axles I've had.

Are you gonna buy direct from Moser or maybe go with Summit?
