Tripod Mirror Fitment
My '73 K20 has the original tripod mirrors. I would like to replace them with similar units. Reading the LMC catalog, they say the holes may not line up. Anyone have any experience with the LMC mirrors or has anyone purchased any tripod mirrors in the aftermarket that line right up to the holes in the doors?
I prefer to buy a painted set as opposed to the stainless ones. Anyone know where I can get a set of painted ones? Thanks.

Re: Tripod Mirror Fitment
I would look at regular truck supply stores or a heavy duty supply store.. IM not sure if JC Whitney still sells them too

Re: Tripod Mirror Fitment
I don't know if anyone carries them but I would look around the junkyard for a decent set of tripods you can clean up and paint(if your are in bad shape) and the mirror assembly itself you can find at a truck supply store or a heavy duty supply store as stated above

Re: Tripod Mirror Fitment
Yeah, I think I'll do that. I actually prefer a beat up painted set to go with the truck's character and my beater theme. If anyone has a set to spare, let me know.
