Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck???
That seems reasonable... heck, it has $400 worth of tow hooks on it!

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck???
Looks like nice truck and worth it if no rust IMO...that new shinny black paint can hide allot of rust though.

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck???
Looks like possible rust issues behind passenger front tire on fender. But looks like a pretty decent truck.

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck???
Looks like a fun driver. Around here he'd probably sell that no problem. A buddy was bringing a factory 4x4 frame back for his project and got offered 2000 just for the frame with axles.

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck???
Looks pretty good and unless there are some big problems, the price seems good. A couple of things I noticed are the positioning of the numbers on the odometer is odd. It looks like it's in mid-turnover but 68,889 shouldn't be. The wear on the brake and clutch pedal rubber look like way more than 68K...

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck???
Nothing is mentioned about the body. That could be the tactic to leave the buyer to assume what they want. I don't like when sellers claim exactly what a 5-digit odo reads. Rare factory 4wds? Not exactly. I dunno, the truck may be nice but there's am air of distrust about the seller. I would definitely have to see the truck and let it speak for itself.

I do agree with you. For me, It falls into the "There's something fishy" category. I have little to base this on, it's just seems too good to be true.

Obviously he's pretty good at taking close up pictures so a person could request close ups of any area they wanted to check out. I know that may not show anything under the body work but it should give some idea of the body mount, kick panel, interior header panel, etc. condition. Like Tim said, I don't buy much of anything without a visual inspection, by me or someone I trust. LockDoc

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck???
Looks decent. But like others have said... I would want to look at it or have a trusted person look at it. For that kind of money you would want to be certain on what you are buying. Often times the opinion of the owner is quite different than that of the buyer (when it comes to condition of truck). I do think that could fetch that kind of money where I live. If its in the condition its in.

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck???
That's part of my problem...Finding one close enough to me or someone who could check one out that is far from me who I could trust.

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck???
looks like a nice truck. for the price i would have to automatically expect some rust and bondo under the paint.
