CA legal carb

I have a '77 big block that was just rebuilt. Anyone have a suggestion for a carb that would be an improvement and is CARB legal? RV cam, th400 nothing too wild. I checked with Edelbrock a while back, and they don't have a legal upgrade for a big block.

Re: CA legal carb

Remans are great. I swapped mine to the Edelbrock 1400. I believe it comes in several different CFM. The swap was easy, and my truck passed smog with flying colors. If you do go with an aftermarket carb, make SURE you attach the CARB sticker that it comes with under the hood, in an obvious place where the smog tech will see it. I had to argue with my smog tech a bit about that.
