Moroso "Perm-Align" steel core valve cover gaskets (SBC)....

$31.95 at (MOR-93020). These things kick butt, and they're reusable. I just tested that this weekend.

I originally bought these for my intake swap last June on oldiron's recomendation, and dropped them in place of the old cork valve cover gaskets I was using. They worked like a charm. ZERO leaks anywhere.

No tack, no sealer, and I have chrome valve covers! I used brake cleaner and scotch-brite to clean the head flange and the lip of the covers, and just dropped these in place over the bolt studs.

I'm doing a second intake swap now, and when I popped the valve covers loose the gaskets looked and felt like new! I simply cleaned them up, made sure they weren't messed up in any areas (they weren't) and remounted them just like I described above!Summit Racing
