Re: Paint Ideas????
Im kinda leaning that way myself. Rims show up better with the red bottom. So far the paint guy is thinking Candy apple red and gun metal grey with a silver line along the upper bodyline i call it. Going tomorrow to talk to the guy so Ill see then.

Re: Paint Ideas????
Yeah, I like the red on the top.
I'd suggest Ford CX "Dark Shadow Gray" on the top because it looks the most "alive" in the sun and has a nice dark-to-light variation Dodge PRH "Blaze Red Crystal" because it looks like a candy, but is a two-stage base coat that covers fairly quickly. Be warned, though- pearl reds are the most expensive of all the colors. Any silver will do. Your painter guy could even scotch brite over the silver base coat before he clears it to make it look like brushed stainless. Are you carrying the stripe and two-tone into the jambs, or are you going to keep one color in the jambs? Something to think about... Looks good! I'm a bit biased to those colors...!

Re: Paint Ideas????
Put the darker color on top and spend the time, effort, and cash and paint the wheels to match the top color.

Re: Paint Ideas????
Well talking to the paint guy didnt go as expected. It went way better. We decided on my all time favorite color. apparently it can be done as easy as the other can be. truck will be painted inside and out in the new color. Here is an example i found online. what do yall think?? the square body pic is what made me think of it. Loved this color since it came out on the monte carlos back in the 80's.

Re: Paint Ideas????
I'm partial to solid colors myself, but everyone has their own opinion. Do like the idea of a "brushed stainless" effect though. Might use that sometime.

But i also like the solid color you decided on as well. Should look sweet either way...

Re: Paint Ideas????
Oh, I get you. He's going to two-tone your truck in black and silver, then cover the whole thing in brandywine candy with some flake in it. That'll be nice. Makes sense.
