71 Blazer 2wd...build, sell,or part out????

In process of making a decision on the fate of my 2wd Blazer. First of all, I've lost interest in restoring it, mainly due to the costly repair panels (rear quarters etc.), their not real bad, I can straighten them, but it also has some rust on the floor and rear body mounts. I think I can do better parting this out and keeping some parts for my other projects. I noticed that the windshield frame is in high demand and one was sold with the firewall, mine has a/c if someone would be interested in that section with w/s frame. Another high demand part would be the fuel tank with mounting hardware and filler neck. The rolling chasis has 5 bolt disk brakes, power steering, possibly a 3.73 posi rearend (will confirm when it stops raining), and new drop coils all around.
I will part out if I get enough interested takers on the "major" parts, I would hate to sell only the w/s frame and be left with an unbuildable project. I can use the motor/trans in another truck. I can send interested parties pics via email or answer any other questions you may have. Sorry for not listing prices, per forum rules, but not sure what part/parts will sell or what they are worth. Thanks....hope these pics turn out ok.

It would be a shame to part it out. What are you wanting for it. Don't mind if it has a motor or not. bbryant6@cox.net is my email if you would rather talk that way.

Hey if you do part out keep me in mind. I might be interested in a lot of parts. My email is chilisue1@charter.net . I would try to sell whole if possible. I am always getting offers on mine and its no preemo truck.

PLEASE don't chop it up !

That is MINT compared to what alot of us up here had to start with ! Would hate to see a 2WD go to the scrapyard !

But realistically, it IS YOURS to do with what you wish, but after you add-up what you would get for all the parts seperately, and subtract what it will cost you to dispose of anything that is left,
offer it up for sale WHOLE, can't imagine you NOT coming-out ahead !

Just my 2 cents !!!

Keep it in one piece!! Someone out there is falling in love with it right now! (would be me, but its too far away)... Ditto on what 70jimmy4x4 said, plus the time you would have in it taking it apart, getting pics of stuff, all the emails, and shipping...

Post some prices on the Blazer "as is", as a roller or just the chassis and see if anyone is really serious about it. You will get a lot more interest if you post the prices rather than PMs & emails.

Way too nice to part out! You could probably get some good $ for it as it sits.
