Explorer rear
Does the F**d Explorer rear drop right on to 47-54 springs, or do the perches have to be cutoff and rewelded ?

Re: Explorer rear
Perches were too narrow on mine. Memory says they were 39.5 center to center.

Re: Explorer rear
I think that's sufficiently answered, but I'll jump in with a "cut and rewelded" reply, also- That's what I had to do for my '47 with a '95 Exploder rear.

Re: Explorer rear
look for late production '96 or just start with '97 they come with disc brakes.
