Leave it out in the sun for a while to loosen the rubber and it will help a bunch when you go to put it in.

talking about the door channel felt? Id take the window out and start at the vent side and just form it around the door channel until its down in the door where you need it.

after yo wam up the rubber, install it on the glass & retain it by using masking tape. then run some 1/4" nylon rope in the grove around o/d & set glass up into opening w/ bottom going on lip 1st. then from inside pull the rope to you & work rubber around lip while using lots of soapy water for lube. good luck!

I read somewhere recently it is best to start these windshields at the top center instead of the bottom, presumably so you don't have the roof lip interfering with laying the glass back against the channel. For what it's worth.
