quick question about bolt pattern
probably a dumb one too but I have yet to come across the answer, I've got a '66 3/4 ton, the bolt pattern is 8x? also what size?

That would be 8 x 6.5". That bolt pattern was used on all 3/4 tons and 1 tons for many years by all manufacturers.
