KS 1968 GMC Truck Brochure - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Covers series 1500/3500 Pickup-Stake & Cab and Chassis models. 16 pages with interior pics, options available, engine and driveline specs. Some minor rust spots around staples and one staple is loose. Couple small tears on edge but overall very nice for being 40 plus years old. Printed in June, 1968. Asking $17.50 shipped USPS Media Mail.

Your most likely right about the truck shown in the brochure is probably a 1969 but the brochure itself is or was printed in 6-68 thus the way I titled the post. Hope I did not confuse anyone into thinking the truck shown is a
68. I "think" for GMC's all the 67/68's were a painted grill, 69/70's were anodized aluminum and the 71/72's were anodized with black accents. Someone with more knowledge than I have feel free to chime in on that. Would like to know more on this myself.

I would say it is an early print for the 69 trucks. Most of the pics point to 69 except for the dash one with the choke on the right.

Since new vehicles come out in the fall of the prior year brochures are dated the year ahead.

Correct, but the change should be in sept. This is dated june he said. I would say it is a very early 69 brochure.

67's and 68's also had a chrome grille, you just had to select the custom or super custom package.
