Re: accel dual points help
Which model is is? Is it the 37100? It's been a long time since I've messed with a dual point, but if I remember correctly, both the red and black connect to the dist side of the coil. Each wire is for one set of points. The factory wiring included a disconnect on one of the wires, so that you could disable one set of points so that you could set the dwell on one set of points. Then you reconnect the wire to the other set of points and set the total dwell. You might go to Accel's website and see if they have the installation instructions for your distributor. I know I've found them for some older electronic distributors.
