Gas tank help...
So i am looking into using this tank for my project.
http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-2517...ymmeid=6236443 I know it's not blazer specific. The only drawback is that the filler neck is 1". Can i get a bigger one welded on? What size do our trucks normally use? Do they weld them or sauder them? Is that even the proper term?

Re: Gas tank help...
You know all the later model cars use the thin filler neck at the tank. Of course you can make up a nipple and have it welded in, but why? Fuel nozzles (gas station nozzles) diameter are only about 3/4 in diameter so will flow only so much fuel and as long as twists and turns are kept to a minimum it will not back up. I am thinking about using a tank with a smaller diameter nipple to make it easier to get between the frame and the bed on my truck. The original filler hecks are about 2" - 2 1/4".

Re: Gas tank help...
that filler neck appears to b very low on the tank the tank looks if placed flat will only allow you to fill it a bit more than half full // plus it would need to b placed very high up in the frame rails to clear the filler maybe causing bed floor issues
