Attn: Factory stock & accessory guys!

Check out this ride I just listed on ebay. Probably not a very popular combination of options, but a very interesting truck!

Re: Attn: Factory stock & accessory guys!

Is the SPID sheet still on the glovebox door? That would be cool to see. That would confirm that what you see has not been modified. Previously, I had thought the TH400 trans was only available with the Custom Camper option. I doubt it, but maybe this is an oddball version of that?

Re: Attn: Factory stock & accessory guys!

th400 transmissions were available for the first time in 1966 on c20 trucks only, did not have to be a cutom camper.chevy should have made them available on the c10's too but did not.these trucks could be ordered in any combo thought of as long as it was a factory option available at the time.even side mouldings and chrome bumpers and hubcaps were optional for the custom cabs.

Re: Attn: Factory stock & accessory guys!

The SPID is missing and I can't find a build sheet. However, the truck appears to be original. Collins is right - these trucks could be ordered about any way you wanted them.

Re: Attn: Factory stock & accessory guys!

Back then they even installed V8s at the dealer-if you wanted it, your local dealer would make it happen-old time dealer mechanics have told me of installing Corvette engines into these trucks in the good ol' days.
