Re: v10 blazer
It's a model. They went from c-10/k-10 to r-10/v-10 after 86 to not get confused with the newer gmt-400 base trucks. I had an 87 r-10.

Re: v10 blazer
Like the others said, you just have a person who does not know the proper term for what he has for sale. I'd be very eager to buy from a smart person like that, especially w/out a title.
The trucks and suburbans went to R (2wd) or V (4wd) in 87. The blazers never changed though, they were still K5, no R or V about them.

But from an engineering perspective the model code changed from K blazer to V blazer, just like the rest of the R/V trucks. (Blazers are actually a 10 series as well - the "5" was also marketing BS). K

Re: v10 blazer
Well that's hokey!
They were badged K5 until they day they died. So maybe on the title it says V10 or something, and that is where the used car guy got his info for the CL ad?

Re: v10 blazer

Re: v10 blazer
Yep -
The marketing team can put "Impala" badges on there if they want to (they probably would if they thought they could get away with it LOL) - but that doesn't change the chassis components that the truck was built with.... K
