What would the best way to go with a intake for a 350 or 355 sbc with a little cam in it being ran on the street on pump gas?

An Eldebrock performer airgap eps, will give you tons of torque perfect for street.

IMO,
The Brodix HV1016 is one of the best street strip intakes. It has great low speed characteristics and still makes power in the high rpm range.

Single plane Weiand 7546, thats what I'm running on mine, granted I'm running headers, 292 Comp Cam, and a 600 double pumper. Its my daily driver too.

Re: Best intake for sbc

I run an Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold on my "hot rodded" 350, very pleased.

That being said, the manifold you pick should be based on the rest of the engines ability to breathe and what RPM it builds power in. If you don't have better than stock heads and an exhaust system that utilizes either headers or 2-1/2" ram horn manifolds the new intake won't see it's full potential.

Hope that helps.

Re: Best intake for sbc

the edelbrock RPM's (all variations) are very good intakes for mild street motors. that brodix works equally as well. dual-plane intakes have come a long way in the last 5-10yrs
