82 2wd blazer project
ok so here goes this!! i got a 82 2wd blazer a few weeks ago as a project. it allready had the air ride on it when i got but it does need work. so after i got the thing running i needed to get the other stuff started so this is my project thread!! lol!!! it needed most of the interior the seats and con sole needed to be mounted so on so on!!! lol. well here!
bad steering wheel, billet shifter, i also took the idiot lights out and installed a aftermarket h2o and oil guages. i got all new carpet, recovered the door panels, and made rear side panels today but i had no time for pics ill get those tomorrow. ive also been working on the airride system the rear end wasnt installed proper. so i hade to pull it out and cut all the mounts and saddles off so i could get it centered up. its a work in progress so there is more to come!! |

Re: 82 2wd blazer project
i also got the wipers and highbeams wired up to the sig stalk. i got all power windows and locks out of a 4x4 and so everything has been coverted to power. i put the rear window switch where the wiper switch was on the dash. the front seats, console are out of a 98 tahoe and the rear seat is a 3rd row out of a same year burb.i made the brackets for it so its still a removeable.

Looks like you have been busy! Are you happy with the carpet and where did you get it?

Re: 82 2wd blazer project
10-4! I agree, those 20's look just fine. Add some 295-40-20's and your good to go.
