1987 ck steering wheel swap
Hi, I am the new guy and have looked for some info on steering wheel replacements. Here is my problem I am disabled and a fat guy and I need a little more room between me and the wheel. I don't know if a adjustable column would help or perhaps a smaller wheel that would interchange easily. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jim

Re: 1987 ck steering wheel swap
Welcome to the forum jted. All of the mentioned changes would make your situation better. Just about any GM steering wheel (non air bag) can be swapped out. Look at older Camaros as a good choice. If you don't have a tile column, get one. It will give you more space and a better angle.

To save some leg work are the camero wheels any smaller in diameter? Any reduction would give me some extra room. Plus I think I would like the style. Thanks Jim
