factory speaker question..
This is prolly a stupid question but i need some help... Im planning on putting two 4" speakers where the factory speaker went... but i cant find where the original speaker was mounted. if somebody could please help explain where it was mounted it be a great help. a picture would be even better. thank you much

There was a pressed steel bracket, that was held in place with two screws, that faced the inside of the cab, under the windshield weatherstrip , where the dash is spot welded to the cowl. There was also a rubber bumper attached to the speaker bracket that rests on the radio. The radio had a bracket that bolted to the cowl as well as the radio. The speaker magnet protruded through the bracket, the top of the speaker has a foam gasket that contacts underneath the dash where the speaker grill is visible.
