Diesels and MPGs??

Hey guys,

Found an 82 suburban thats diesel, was wondering what the gas mileage on those is like compared to the 350s im finding. Looking for a 2wd burban and not finding many here in washington/oregon. Found this one and was wondering about it..

Re: Diesels and MPGs??

I had a 2wd diesel burb that would get mid 20's for mileage...somewhere around 22-25. My 83 shortbed 4x4 gets approximately 22-25 and I'm thinking my 4x4 burb is getting close to that too now that I have a new tranny in it...it's hard to calculate the mpg's right now because the 40 gallon tank is expensive to top off.
