Hello,

Does anyone know the part number to this (see picture)?

I just measured what I needed and got mine from the local bolt supplier. They had the big washers but not the fancy aluminum one like in the picture. If memory serves me mine were 3/8 16 X 4 1/2 and I used a grade 8 bolt.

The aluminum washer in MrShelley's pic is a custom piece. The bolt is as stated above. Look for SBC harmonic balancer washers- they are thick, hardened, and the right size...

If you have a machine shop in your area get them to machine a couple on the lathe.......

This is perfect! I totally forgot about the SBC harmonic balance washer. Would you recommend running only one washer per side?

I also used the harmonic balancer washer and 4" bolt. I think it should be oky. Would like to have a bigger bolt going into the bag though....

The same size bolts hold the front bags in place.....

You could drill for the other two holes and use short bolts through the upper flange of the arms. Would be overkill, but good for peace of mind...

Aren't the bolt holes in the top and bottom of the bag in-line with each other?

I know that the front bags are held in by two 3/8" bolts. The back "should" be oky I am slightly concerned with the bottom having only one 4' x 3/8" bolt. Probibly will never be a problem.

I think a plate could be made with room to bolt the two 3/8" bolts into the bags and have a 1/2" x 4" stud going through the trailing arm. Mabye over thinking it ?
