Floor shifter
I did a quick search but didn't see what I needed. This is probably easy for the pros.
How do you know where to cut the hole to put in a B&M Mega shifter in the floor? Thanks alot

Re: Floor shifter
I have installed (2) of these over the years. One of the advantages of a cable operated shifter is you place it wherever you want, as long as it is in reach of the cable.

Re: Floor shifter
You have to:
-Drill holes for the shifter -Cut hole for shifter cable -Cut holes in the carpet or mat -Get under the truck and install the cable brackets and the lever arm for the cable. You will also need to adjust the cable -Extend the neutral safety switch and reverse light wires to the shifter -Trim the plastic shroud to match the contour of the floor -Make some sort of bracket to hold stock shifter on the column in the park position Not a tough job. Lots of fun to manually shift!

Re: Floor shifter
and make sure the shifter cable is going through the floor as straight as possible.. mine had to much of a bend it it, resulting in me breaking the cable over time.
