Re: Everybody OK??

I am still here, i live about 20 miles out of tuscaloosa. Tuscaloosa is bad, Tannehill area is Bad, But the shoal creek valley in etowah county is horrible.
twenty something people dead, several still missing, and the trees are unreal. it looks like the pictures of mount st. helens except all the trees are busted off about 20 feet up. and thats about a half mile wide swath, several miles long. My sister in law owns a farm there, and there is not 1 tree left that is not busted on the whole property. Folks over there need prayers.

Re: Everybody OK??

I'm here in Huntsville/Monrovia/Harvest area. The tornado went thru about a mile or 2 from my house. Only damage I had was limbs down, and no power for a week. The church I go to had the steeple ripped off, and so many people lost all they had. Nobody in my family was hurt thankfully.

And the outpouring of support to people in the community from each other and strangers has been awesome!

You had to wait in line to volunteer to help clean up or man a support center to give out help.

Prayers go out to everyone who was affected.
