Question on lowering & tire size - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey guys! New to the forum and am starting a build. Ive got a 64 shortbed and was wanting to lower the front with 2.5 with spindles and 4 inch springs in the rear. Got a set of 17 inch rims to run. Was wondering if anyone had the same setup and could post some tire sizes to help me out?

I'd suggest using the search function to find a comparable set-up to what you are contemplating.

I typed in "tires wheels", specified "titles" and selected the "60-66 forum", here is what I got.

You got a stepside or fleetside? FYI: Stepside beds are narrower than fleetside beds so keep that in mind.
