elec gauges 73 gmc
Hi, have a question about 2 things. First, have mech gauges in my cluster. I want to change to elec. The oil gauge is elec. I want to add an elec temp and volt gauge from an 80's truck. Is this possible. Have installed a new fuse box with newer tech. Second, have an aftermarket push button starter kit. How do i hookup the ign wire. Thanks

What is a Push Button Starter KIT? The Push Botton Starter Button engeges the starter. A switch would give you power to your ignition On stock Key Ignition. It gives you power to your Ignition when it is cranking. But stops Starter after you let off your Stock Ignition switch, But then in Run position it keeps the power on to your Ignition (coil) Hope that helps. Your question is a bit confusing to me. Good Luck |

Re: elec gauges 73 gmc
HI tallcrown. The push button startup has a relay with 3 wires. The red goes to the 12v pos side batt. The yellow goes to the ignition. The white goes to the starter sol s post. The confusion is with the yellow wire. Does it go to the ign switc plug? hope this helps. thanks
