The best part of building a truck
It's not the first time you hear the motor, it's not when you see the finished paint, not even the first ride. It's when you get your TAG !!! I still had problems getting it. They told me the title was no good. But having gone thru this before with some bikes I wasn't sweating it. In FL if you don't regester for 10 yrs they close out your title. All they needed to do was reactivate it. So now I get to make some shake down runs. I hope to go to the power tour in 2 weeks and make the run from Coco to Georgia

Re: The best part of building a truck
have to disagree with the best part. one look at your truck and I'd have to say the first drive, beautiful work.

Re: The best part of building a truck
The truck looks great. I'm not sure which part is the best part every one has it's own moment.
We have the same thing here in Washington state but I'm not how many years it takes for the titles to get put in the dormant file. After X amount of time with the vehicle not being registered the titles get stuck in the archives as you will and if you go in to register or change the title on a vehicle that hasn't been tagged for a while you have to wait until someone goes and digs the title out of the box in the storage building. That happened to me a few years ago. It's a bit of a hassle but keeps things on the up and up as far as your title is concerned. |

Re: The best part of building a truck
Thanks everyone. I first drove it from my shop to the house in Nov. That was uneventfull for me worring about getting pulled over with no tag or ins. When I got the tag yesterday I was shaking don't know why. Well now it's off for a drive!!
