Finished, literally...Finally!!!
Hey All...As promised, Just wanted to share a couple of pictures with the board of the CST finally completed. This is how I got her from my dad...
And this is how she looks just today at a run to get some pine straw... Nohing but a bit of sweat, blood and a few choice words to throw in the mix. It isn't complete just yet as I still want to install a 3.42 LSD and an Old Air AC system. Anyway, ya'll stay away from those dern tornados! John

Re: Finished, literally...Finally!!!
The truck looks great, is it originally an Arizona truck? I noticed the plates.

Seats are out of an early/mid 90's Blazer II. 60/40 split with the center console. Junkyard = CHEAP. They still look new. Tires are 255/60 on 15" stock 5 lug 80's ralleys. Drop is 3.5" Front and 4" Rear. Front drop is 2.5" spindle and 1" drop spring. Other info... 5 lug conversion: 73 front susp. 75 rear susp. 1970 Chevelle SS LS6 motor. Motor was cast and built in 1992 as one of the last LS6 454 crate motors. Stage III 700R4 transmission built by Bowtie Ovedrives. Most of everything else I have mentioned. Thanks guys for the compliments. I've tried to ensure that the intent of being a truck is maintained. I think they call these Resto-Mods? Anyway, much appreciated!

Great looking truck! Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done. Been there and done that, it is a lot of time and money.

Re: Finished, literally...Finally!!!
Do you have any details on the exhaust? I like where and how your tips dump. I would love to see pictures of it. I like that dark green too.

Re: Finished, literally...Finally!!!
Sure...here are a couple pics of the exhaust. The skinny is 2.5" all the way out with an "X" pipe. Since I have rear coils it was a bit tricky! Enjoy:

Re: Finished, literally...Finally!!!
Whoa John. That's Out Standing! I like that you kept it real enough to use as a truck. The wheels and stance are great too. Big block to boot. You've got a real nice package.

Re: Finished, literally...Finally!!!
Nice looking ride Ole Greenie. I'm an hours drive west in Sandersville. Is there a club or group that gets together with our old trucks around Augusta?
