Tailgate band installation
so i ordered a tailgate band piece and just assumed it came with instructions and bolts to install... i was wrong. anybody know where to get the hardware to install a tailgate band ?

Personally,... I would just buy new stainless screws from a local hardware store or Fastenal store.

thats what i was thinking... newbie question here... ?i'm going to have to drill holes into the tailgate? oh geez not what i wanted to do.

You could use double sided tape. But the band would not fit tight and look like crap.

The holes are small and easily filled later if that's what you want to do. Be sure to use a bit that's smaller than the non-threaded part of the screw you're using and you'll be fine.
