dual jet carb help!

Greetings guys...been away for a while. Can anyone tell me if the following carb will work on my 1970 250 straight six?: Dual Jet 1981-82 Chevrolet Car, 267 Cubic Inch, 4.4 Feedback with Electric Choke.

Thanks Fleetside! I'm guessing that "Feedback" must have something to do with fuel injection?

Re: dual jet carb help!

the old feedback carbs were an attempt at using an o2 sensor to help with emmissions. its still a carb. fuel injection technically requires an injector and external fuel control whereas a carb meters using the airflow through itself. either way, the feedback carbs typically didn't work very well. it may be possible to disable the feedback part but i don't know any specifics about that

Re: dual jet carb help!

Of course!...what was I thinking? Just found Carburetor Exchange in Arizona. He's sending me a rebuilt dual jet that fits a 1970 Nova which is where my engine came from. $195 shipped! Seems like a good deal to me.

Re: dual jet carb help!

dual jets are normally a V8 carb , usually a 267 ,305 or so , most 6 cyl ran the monojet ,it is a 1 bbl carb ... Unless you are making an adapter ....

Re: dual jet carb help!

I already have a Holley 2 bbl. adapter that may or may not work but I do have a guy here in town that builds custom engines for circle track racers. He says he can make an adapter for me.
