Unhappy Help!

I just got done putting on a set of drop hangers and shackles on my 85 swb and when I went to bolt my springs up, my drive shaft bottoms out in the tranny. Is this a common problem or did I do something wrong? The hangers and shackles are both 2" drops

Re: Help!

You took all the slack out of it when you lowered it. Gonna have to get your driveshaft shortened. Sorry.

Re: Help!

There were brackets in a flip kit I used that positioned the rear wheel back, to avoid that problem...the only thing was that I didn't like the look because the wheel wasn't centered in the wheel housing any more.
I'm in the middle of a tranny swap, and took the time to drill my flip kit brackets, so the wheel was centered...I had to get a new driveshaft anyway, and I thought I'd center the wheel.
