Painting Dash?
The dash on my GMC has the satin black on the top which is origional, and when I get the front of the dash painted green ,should I paint the top part of the dash green or paint it satin black like origional?

I think with the satin black you wont get a big glare from the sun right in your eyes. I think it looks good satin black and not body color. Just my opinion.

I agree. With gloss paint in that area, it's likely to reflect off the windshield.

What they said. I used the satin black on mine (red dash), and have been very happy with it. Good luck and show us some pics when you get a chance.

All of mine were painted body color, but on top of the dash was flat paint instead of glossy. If you are going with a base coat/clear coat, you can do this by skipping the clear on the dash top area.
