5 x 4 3/4 Wheels on a '72 C10?
I want to run a set of 5 x 4/3" Camaro Z-28 steel wheels on my '72 C10 with factory 5 x 5" wheel and Power disc/drum brakes. I have read threads where some recommended re-drilling the front discs for the car pattern. Would the same apply for the rear axles (and drums)? I have a concern of weaking the parts by this method. Has anyone done a conversion using GM or aftermarket parts to change out the bolt pattern? Thanks in advance. bg

Re: 5 x 4 3/4 Wheels on a '72 C10?
Are there any front discs with the 5 x 4 3/4 pattern that will bolt on a '72 c10 rather than drilling them?

HD 1.25" rotor spindles, no. Problem is, you'll spend more money swapping over to the 1" spindle than you would just getting the rotors re-drilled (lt duty brakes require different spindles, rotors, & calipers).
