lowering block question

I've noticed alot of companies say u can't run a 15" rim with 2" lowering blocks my question is why not I have them and am going to run rallies

It's not that they won't physically fit....they obvioulsy will, it's about safety. You will get into "scrub-line" issues. Meaning that you will now have a "solid" object that hangs low enough to drag the ground if you happen to have a blow-out. This dragging can cause a serious lack of control. It not only affects steering, but braking too.

It's due to scrub line issues. The blocks will make the bottom of the trailing arm hang below the rim (or scrub line) which will cause the trailing arm to drag on the ground if you were to get a flat in the rear. At speed, this could be very dangerous.
