Back home finally!
Well, picked my truck up from the body shop for the last time, doesnt seem like its been over a year since I tore the truck apart from a 2wd lowered truck and turned it into a 4wd lifted one. Sure am glad to be getting close to driving her, just gotta get new exhaust and finish up my trim. The last pic is what she looked like before I tore her apart

Re: Back home finally!
Congratulations Gene!!! It looks great (they both do/did). Just a little more motivation for me to finish mine. Good luck buttoning up the small details.

Re: Back home finally!
Thanks Liz, i've put a ton of work into her, it's nice to see that it's appreciated. I could'nt have gotten this far without this great board, What you and Josh and the rest do for us fellow truckers is much appreciated!

Thanks for the kind words. You have been here just as long as I have.. through good, bad (pbs kids!) and fun.. in the end, its the members and their contributions that make this place what it is. Congrats again!

Re: Back home finally!
Thanks guys! I am seeing even more little things I need to get squared away, my cab is sitting a little crooked on the frame. The pass rear side is too close to the bed and the drivers side fender is too close to the bumper. Guess I should have took care of that before I layed the carpet DOH!

Re: Back home finally!
It's alot easier when you start with a solid truck which I thought mine was. I ended up replacing both rockers(again) inner rockers, both cab corners, all 4 cab supports. all of this rust showed up within 15 years, the first time I rebuilt the truck as a 2wd.
