just finished 68
just finished my 68 step, got some great info from this forum, big thanks
to tim christain at top banana as well as mark at early classic i did all work except spraying the silver paint and sewing the seats.complete frame off resto. |

yes i know how important pics are and i'll get some more. i spent the last 11 months on this truck and didn't take time to post as i went so now after the fact i'll have the time to get out there and be glad to answer questions because
sharing info helps us all. the dash is out of a 59 impala, i had to widen it 4 1/2" in the middle and fabricated the console from 1/4 round bar and 18 ga sheet about a 100 manhours in dash and console. the drop is all early classic 4/6 drop however i trimmed 1/2 turn from front springs and added 1'' lowering blocks. 18" & 20" continentals on american eagle 225's . wheels bolted right on with no mods. perfect fit. 8 1/2 " fronts and 10" on rear. more pics to follow thanks for the comments. |
