Rear Bumper

I have an 84 Shortbed without a bumper and want to put one on. I found a guy selling a bumper and brackets from an 82 K5 blazer. Will these brackets work on my truck? if not, will the bumper still work?

Re: Rear Bumper

Thanks. The guy is asking $80 with brackets and says it is straight with no dents. Is that a good price? I was going to offer $60, since I will have to find the inner brackets.

Re: Rear Bumper

Really? It won't vibrate too much or anything?
I want to also oblong the holes and tuck it in closer to the body.

Re: Rear Bumper

I put one on mine without the inners also until I could find them. No problem with vibration at all.
