Brake question for you guys...

Ok, I swapped front ends from an 84 Suburban onto my 68 shortwide. Bought a new master cylinder as well. It is still standard brakes, not power.

My question is this!
-I'm wanting to order a new front brake line kit but I'm wondering for what year?! I don't know if the fittings are the same size on the master cylinder for every year, or the porportioning valve either.

I had already ordered new brake hoses for 71 and up, and they would not fit my current brake lines. One side fit, the other did not.

Would y'all:
A: Get a new 71-72 master cylinder, and proportion valve, and then order the front lines for a 71-72?
B: Order front lines for a 71-72 anyways and see if it fit?

Also, is there a cheaper proportioning valve offered that will bolt directly up with factory fittings, etc. that y'all know of? The factory replacements from places like LMC and Classic Parts are $199. Seems a bit high to me??
