1978 K5 Blazer Project
Thought I should make a build thread for my K5. Its a 1978 K5 Blazer, 350/TH350/NP205, 10 Bolt up front, 12 bolt out back, 4in Tuff Country Lift, 15x10s with 33x12.5s.
The Truck has 53k original miles. Im the 3rd owner. 2nd owner was from WY and bought it from the original owner from California 3-4 yrs ago. I got it a yr and half ago but unfortunately the 2nd owner did some 4 wheeling in it and the truck has some issues that I am gonna have deal with but I love the truck anyway!!!  Future plans: 14 Bolt FF Dana 60 or Dana 44 Full Convert Conversion Full Roll Cage 3in Body Lift (have it just dont know if Im gonna put it on..) 6in Springs PRP Front Buckets PRP Rear Bench (Maybe...) SM465 4SPD/205 Twin Stick Soft Top (Made w/Military grade Canvas Cobra CB 148 GTL (have it just haven't installed it...) New Stereo System (Right now the truck only has the front speaker and thats it! haha )Zero Rates for the Rear CrossOver and High Steer Custom Front/Rear Bumpers w/D Rings Winch 35s, 36s, 37s or 38s (haven't decided )Dreamy Future Plans: LS Engine Conversion or Fuel Injection Last edited by HWS; 07-04-2011 at 12:56 AM. |
