Oh No Surgery?!?
hello everyone! new to the forums and has a question to my fellow chevy enthusiasts about the rim size i plan to put on my 1971 chevrolet c10. and if my selection of rim size will make me have to do any major to minor alterations on my soon to be show stopper. i would love the presence of a 24" rim at stock hight! is that possible with out any rubbing front or back?? or even dreadfully cutting the bed, the the rim i am looking at now is a 24x9.5 i heard 10 is pushing it... but if anyone could shed some light on this thread it will be most appreciated and any pics of some 67-72 longbed body style (Not Dropped or cut) would be more then welcome also Thanx=]

Re: Oh No Surgery?!?
All depends on the backspace of the rim. You can fit a 10 inch wide rim in there no problem, but it ALL depends on the backspace and the size of the rubber on the wheel. Also, if you are planning on running a 24 with a low profile tire, there should be no issue but you may want to think about a mild drop. Its going to look like a donk if you dont drop it some, unless that is the look you are going for. To each his own.
