Identify tilt column
Could someone tell me what this tilt column is from ? And im thinking about putting a sm465 in the blazer if i do and sell this column what would be a fair asking price ? Thanks

Looks to me like a early Van style column because of the shortness in length between the dash bezel and shift collar imo, prob wrong though

Van columns usually tilt lower than most passenger car tilts. My guess is an earlier chevelle or impala. There should be a clamp on that tab hanging out of your firewall that holds the column up. A hose clamp works.
If you are showing the full up position in your photo, then it is definately a van. Early columns should bring $75-125, unless it is a specific match for some more rare restoration. |
