Plastic bezels...should have known better

I ordered the cheap plastic headlight bezels when I ordered my 73/74 grille. As the photos show, the quality is crap. Only one came out like this, but it's still a big disappointment for this to show up at my door.
The one that wasn't defective actually fit rather well, so I don't know whether to return them both or just the problematic one...

LMC. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to let me return/exchange them.

Yeah but you'll be out the freight both ways.

Re: Plastic bezels...should have known better

Their returns procedure states that if the return is due to their error, they'll reimburse my shipping. I'll tell them I did not order a ****ed up bezel, and that they must have sent me the wrong one
I've bought quite a bit of crap from LMC, and I'd hope they have good enough customer service to take care of the shipping.

I bought quite a bit from LMC with no problems. It probably came to them like you got it. Surely thell make it good.

Re: Plastic bezels...should have known better

Just got off the phone with LMC: they are shipping me another bezel free of charge (I pay no shipping, nothing for the part.) I asked the lady how I should go about being reimbursed for shipping the defective one back, and she told me they didn't want it back. She didn't request pictures; nothing.
I am a happy camper.

Re: Plastic bezels...should have known better

I've had to return a couple of items before and they always made it right. They allowed me to keep the defective part and they just sent me another one. If a part is defective, they cant resale it so they rather not take the cost of shipping it back.

sixshooter798-

Cool. that's what i was responding, but you beat me to it. Truck is looking good by the way.

Re: Plastic bezels...should have known better

Ive only had one defective item I've ever purchased from LMC. It was a cracked mirror, but their customer service was great, I shipped it to them, they sent me a new one, and I didn't have to pay anything.

I bought the front grille surround trim and headlight trim from LMC for my 85 C10, it didnt fit correctly and was made in China. They sent a second set and fit the same so I threw it in the trash can and found NOS and it fit like a glove. I still buy alot from LMC, but only for certain items I cant find NOS. I would rather wait for the pieces to become available on ebay or here than waste my money.
