No more egg crate
Wll I'm not done yet, but I couldn't help trying out bunk parts to see how she looks. I'll locate a center support somewhere. I tryed straightening it out but I just didn't have the patients at 90 + in the sun today. LMC isn't to pricy for the center support but I didn't see a 73-4 listed by it self in the catalog. I need to fix some of the grill mounts and fab up some brackets for the grill tabs that were mounted to the 73 radiator support. Sure looks better than the 80 egg crate grill.

Re: No more egg crate
ME gusta! Much better. There is hardly a sexier grille than the '73-'74.

Re: No more egg crate
The Egg crate is put away for another day. I may do a little practice painting on it as all the paint is worn off. I may try some chrome paint on it before I do the dash bezel on my 69 Cuda

Re: No more egg crate
73-74 center support is all by itself, and you have to get a used one. If you really want to be old school, replace the clear parklights in the front with orange ones. If you replace the fender emblems too, then you have a 73-74, on the outside at least.

Re: No more egg crate
Do I have to get a used center support? I didn't see where LMC listed it but I gotta believe they would. As for lamps well... I have one good one and the emplems are likely going to be tool box trim

Re: No more egg crate
Check with Forum Vendor Top Banana parts aka Tim Christian. He sells the grill and is in the process of reproducing all the brackets as well. Look at my sig for the conversion on my 77.
