how do you tell if a th350 is a lockout or regular

On the driver's side of the transmission, about halfway along the length of the main body of the transmission, the presence of a 4-prong connector means you have a TH350C (lockup).
If there is no connector, it is a regular TH350 This image shows the TH350C electrical connector -- this one is blue: |
