will it bolt up?
i have a 1989 turbo 400 2wd transmition i was told that 205 transfer case will bolt up to if i remove the tail shaft cover. is this true

Yes, if you have the adaptor for the 400 to 205. If you don't they are really pricey, $250.

Depends which 205 you have. It won't bolt up to the same year as the tranny, need the figure 8 style t-case.
