Anyone installed a brothers billet dash??
I ordered a billet dash inset only from a store, same as on brothers.com
How does this fit?? Mine does not line up and seems to have a fairly large gap on the bottom... it says there is no modification or cutting needed.

Never mind I found this....
I dont like how brothers.com lists this as no cutting or modifications required then they makers of it say you have to hack away your stock dash! http://www.boeseengineering.com/imag...772Install.htm

Re: Anyone installed a brothers billet dash??
I just was in Email contact with a guy in Eugene Or. that makes pick guards and he said to send him a template and or photos and he would see what he could do.
I think it would be a very cool idea. lots of neat plastic designs out there. I was thinking of sanding the bezel's down that go around the gages then have the tapered dual color of the pick guard showing as it tapers into the gage speed o area etc. If that makes any sense. |

Quote:
We manufacture our own billet dash panel, which requires no cutting or modification at all. The company link you provided is a separate company and has no affiliation with Brothers, we have ours manufactured at a local machine shop. Our Billet dash screws in as simple as the original dash bezel. If you have any questions about our product please call, PM or e-mail me.
