LMC Rollpan for my 85 Fleetside
Hello, a week ago I bought a roll pan from LMC for my truck. I'm getting around today to install it; however, I am running into a couple of fitting problems. First, it seems the pan it self is a little to wide. Secondly, the area for the licence plate bubbles out too far from behind to allow a flush install. At this point, only way for me to install it is to have the pan hang lower than rest of body.
Has anyone installed one of these before? If so, I could really use some help in getting this thing to fit proper. Thanks!

Is it a steel or fiberglass roll pan? I am assuming steel. If it fits that bad, i would return and get a Sir Michaels pan. They fit great.... or even a Grant Kustoms.

Re: LMC Rollpan for my 85 Fleetside
Ya, it's the steel one. I measured the opening on my truck versus the width of the pan. the pan is 1/2 an inch too wide. Even if I were to cut it down, the licence plate area bubbles out too much for it to sit flush.
I'm gonna return it and get a chrome bumper for it instead. Not the clean look I was wanting. EDIT> For the curious, the opening on the back of my truck is 67 inches wide while the pan is 67.5 inches wide. Might have it up if it wasn't for that 1/2 inch. I might keep it and have a body shop put it on for me. I need to get the rear fender wells patched anyways.
