PICS of new stuff on the 85 Silverado
Hey fellas, did some stuff recently to the 85 C20. Besides the new chrome trim down the sides, I have had tint installed, new BF goodrich "E" rating tires, a new front bumper and new chrome trim around the grille area. Also installed a tru-cool 40K trans cooler, so between that and the huge 4 core radiator it does good. I have a trans temp gauge I just need to get a fitting welded into the pan for it to work. A few pics
Trans cooler, I had to lower it 3" from where its pictured below cause the hood latch was in the way. Also lightly sprayed it black up front to hide it behind the grille. showing window tint BEFORE new bumper After new bumper

I agree. The new bumper really cleaned things up. Now get busy and refresh those rims. A coat of Krylon will make a big difference.

Nice, I've been thinking I have to move my cooler to the side for the same reason, somehow it slipped my mind that I can go down. DUH! Thanks for the kick in the kiester!

The boat is about 2,000 pounds, I get 11 mpg unloaded and 6.5 pulling the boat, but she pulls the boat extremely well I have one day off tomorrow and plan on trying to do something with the wheels.

That's a good looking truck, the white steelies and dog-dish caps make it stand out. A fresh coat of gloss white on them will wake it up a good bit.

Huge improvement, I'm loving it. I wish mine were that original and clean.
