I have one also, but I decided to build the truck back stock, it is a bbw, factory air, power steering 283 powerglide custom with the ashtray........only needs factory bucket seats..............?did chevrolet offer the buckets like gmc did ?? I have only seen buckets in a gmc stock.....Kieth

Buckets only came in the chevy panels as far as I know.

Just a reminder guys, the plastic vent piece has sold on ebay for 300 - $400 a ash tray has brought $300.00 If someone is doing a restoration $800.00 for the correct A/C parts is not a bad deal..........................I would not take that for the stuff in my 66.

Only 1% of trucks had factory air, if you were going to drop 250-300 on a tach than AC is cheap. Besides it fits better than the vintage air stuff, is rare and is original.
